So I'm here in Newport News typing on my iPad waiting for the fun bus to useless. It's nice being closer to home. It feels closer. Smells like Virginia. So I'm sitting in Atlanta airport. Just finished basic training. On to AIT to learn black hawk repair.

So after dodging DSs at the airport who wanted to send us back to benning early we finally made it out the front door of the airport and on to a shuttle bus to a hotel. We don't have to be back until 2000 tomorrow so to hell if we're going back early. Basic
So right now I'm on my way to the beach, typing this on my iPad. Currently on hatter as island headed toward Avon. Be there in about thirty min. So basic training... Technically I'm not done yet. Well that was easy. I'm currently on holiday block leave from basic. Yep. After the third I go back for nine more days to graduate basic. Boring... Whatever. So I now smile as I type this from my new iPad. Yep! Got an iPad as an early Christmas present. Love it. More details on basic later. Stayed up to see the lunar eclipse. Pretty cool.
